Different textures such as fabric, metal, wood, glass, and stone
During this class you will learn about lights and shadows and the
different types of shading and etching. We will also do some more
exercises to keep on training our eye on how to observe and read
models.
You will learn:
- How to shade and read lights and shadows in models. – How to observe
in detail.
Class exercises: We will begin by learning how to do basic etching and
shading and creating a basic black and white gradient scale with pencils.
1-Greyscale Gradient and etching: Following the example I have given
you, you will create a greyscale gradient with a 2B and 4B pencil. After
we will do variations of etchings like the examples I have shown.
