In this painting, she learned how to arrange a tight, well-structured composition using everyday objects found at home. The colors she chose appear quite mature for her age, yet they have a classical feel and are fairly well balanced.

The objective of this assignment is to observe how the light source affects objects, how the objects interact with one another, and to create color based on personal perception. She is able to observe color well from the real-life subject, but she is not yet very bold in her use of color creativity.

The aim of this assignment is to observe the subtle variations of color on a real-life subject. She has done this quite well; however, more consideration should be given to the handling of the composition in order to better distinguish the main and secondary elements, helping the viewer focus more easily on the focal point.

In the first exercise getting familiar with oil paint, I saw many positive signs, especially in her rendering technique.

The final session for this course — we focused on correcting the light and shadow system while also refining some details.
I have to say, she has done well in the basic charcoal module and has built a solid foundation to move on to more exciting new mediums.
