Session today she studied the iconic expressionism style with artist Edvard Munch. She learns how colors convey emotions such as: yellow symbolizes joy, red symbolizes anger or enthusiasm, etc. She uses clay to make models to express excited emotions. Start with a still life vase model and create a house in your imagination. Hannah is very interested in clay, meticulously and carefully making small models.

Today she learned more about Fauvism and practiced using brushstrokes carefully (to cover the space fully).
She learnt about complementary colors and analogous colors. Good job! We will continue practicing next time.

Today Hannah was introduced to Fauvism. She tried out drawing the scenes she saw in the garden today, then she also painted a very pretty face! The contrast between the hair, the ribbon and the face color is very interesting thanks to the various brushstrokes used.

Today Hannah used oil paint for the first time! Her selection of colors were quite harmonious. She could use different brushworks on different areas – and she was ready to learn new techniques while working on her own ideas.

First session with Hannah! She is very energetic and loves to draw. Today Hannah learnt about Impressionism, and understood how Pointilism works!
It’s great that she can draw big and quite accurate to the still life model (the bird). She also used various techniques in her drawing with acrylic markers, making the results very interesting!
Her choice of colors are nice, too.
