5th lesson!
We started the new year with an apple-drawing exercise.
The goal was using 3 different color harmony palettes to paint 3 apples. This time, Jay confidently drew the objects larger than in her previous works and followed the coloring guidance beautifully.
The last two apples could be more neat, but overall, it was a wonderful way to start the new year! Great job Jay! -

4th lesson!
We made Christmas cards this time.
Jay spent a while choosing what to draw for the front of the card, but she worked very quickly on the borders and the small drawings inside. As usual, her use of color was vibrant and expressive!
Merry Christmas, Jay! We wish you a joyful New Year, hope you can keep creating the things you love!

3rd lesson!
Today the class worked on still life drawing!
With guidance, Jay was able to draw a stuffed animal and add many interesting details and stories around it, making the artwork lively and engaging!
She did face difficulty when using oil pastels, cause she is unfamiliar to the medium. Hopefully, in future sessions, she will try again and gradually enjoy working with this material. -

Jay drew human poses. She drew very fast and detailed and her coloring was vibrant too! The drawing turned out pretty great! -

First lesson! Jay learned Value Scale – she understanded quickly, could mixed the colors pretty well. Nice!

After that, she finger-painted her own drawing. Her flower was so colorful and fun to look at. Just like her personality!
