Japan
(Teacher’s feedback for each lesson under comments section)
One quiet Sunday morning, Kanade, a small girl from Japan, walked into our studio with her mother. She didn’t say much at first — just looked around with wide, curious eyes. Then, she picked up a brush.
With gentle encouragement from her mom, Sayumi, she began to paint. Shy but determined, she surprised us with her courage and focus. It didn’t take long for her to settle in, surrounded by another young artist, Tayuna. Laughter, paint, and new friendships filled the space.
We’re always happy to welcome more Japanese students and expat families to our space. Art becomes a shared language here — a way for children to express themselves and connect, no matter where they’re from.
At Art Tutor Hanoi, friends are made, creativity blossoms, and confidence grows — one painting at a time.

This time, Kanade drew from a photo of her younger brother as a birthday gift for him. Such a sweet and thoughtful idea!
Even though drawing a real person is quite challenging, she still completed the entire portrait and had time to decorate the drawing afterward. This is astonishing Kanade! Keep up the good work! -

Kanade drew her favorite cartoon character. With a bit of help, she added a colorful background filled with lively flowers and fireworks, a very fitting theme for January. The New Year atmosphere can be felt immediately when looking at her drawing. Truly lively!
She also had a lot of fun drawing together with her classmate for a while. Seeing them enjoy the drawing session and playfully coloring was inspirational!
