Perfect results! Today he learnt:
– how to hold a round brush to paint clouds
– how to control water amount
– different brush motions to create different effects (grass, tree, clouds)
A little more careful will be good. But overall, good job!

New drawing today, continue with gouache paint. Matthew follows instructions very well and knows how to adjust the human pose in the drawing. First layer is done!

We paint the night sky with gouache paint today. Matthew has learnt to mix gouache paint evenly, how to hold a round brush and wet-on-wet technique.

We tried drawing different vase shapes today! It was quite a challenge for him to draw circles, so we switched to another activity — practicing circles with a compass. He seemed more relaxed during the coloring part, and it’s looking great! We’ll finish in the next session.
