3rd lesson!
Today Quyen drew things she enjoys!
As mentioned in the previous feedback, it would be even better if she could draw the subjects a bit larger to fill the given paper size and to balance the composition better. -

2nd lesson!
Today the class worked from reference images.
Quyen chose to draw a hedgehog, which is quite a challenging subject. She was able to complete the drawing, but it turned out rather small, making the details difficult to see. Hopefully, next time she will draw the subject larger! -

1st lesson!
For the first class of the year, we worked on apple-drawing exercise, using three different color harmony palettes.
Like in previous session, Quyen completed the exercise quickly. Her color choices were dynamic, the shapes were neat and charming, and the composition felt solid and well-balanced. After finishing early, she continued to draw an additional picture as a gift for a friend – how thoughtful of her! -

Welcome Quyen to our art studio!
We made Christmas card! Quyen quickly completed the front of the card and the inside. All the small drawings carried their own little stories. Quyen especially enjoyed using blue for her line work. She naturally leans more toward drawing lines rather than coloring. Very interesting!
