First lesson – we tried color wheel and work on value scales. She’s doing a good job and can organize a tidy palette.

She finished the first course on charcoal drawing, combining the planar head with a still life scene.
Her sketches are great, but there is still a lot of work to do on her big final drawing.

Focusing on proportions with the flat figure today, quite good results! Needs a few adjustments on the head part.

Tried out different techniques and textures.

She tried to describe the different materials of objects and added some black-and-white contrast.
The drawing looks better and gives a sense of the depth of the atmosphere
