Continue exploring the texture of the fabric in more depth. Some areas are already giving a good sense of material—well done, Una!
We only have a few sessions left together, so I hope you’ll absorb as much as possible and feel confident continuing your art practice when you return home.

Una has started working on fabric rendering — a challenging subject for any student, even those in art schools. In this first session, she focused on getting the shapes right and blocking in areas of light and shadow

Una has completed her still life pencil drawing, focusing on rendering fabric. She showed good observation skills and handled the texture and shading with care.
Una did a good job rendering the glass object — I could really sense its transparency. In the next lesson, she will practice drawing fabric and explore how to depict its texture and folds

Keep developing the light and shadow in your pencil still life drawing.
The forms are now more solid and confident. Keep refining the contrasts to enhance the overall depth.

Una returned to basic pencil drawing. Today, she learned how to construct forms by comparing objects with one another. The result was quite promising — she achieved accurate proportions after just one session.
