Meet Sayang — our student from Indonesia
Sayang came to Vietnam to study both art and Angklung, a traditional Indonesian musical instrument.
From her very first day at Art Tutor Hanoi, she has shown incredible patience and dedication — learning drawing step by step, from the most basic exercises.
She has a special love for black and white, so most of her works are done in charcoal. Through countless portrait and still-life studies, she has built a solid foundation and developed a calm, expressive style that truly reflects her personality.
After more than a year of consistent practice, it feels like she’s now ready to begin creating her own charcoal compositions — a new chapter in her artistic journey.
✨ We’re proud of you, Sayang!

Completed and concluded the human muscle–skeletal study viewed from the back. We hope that after this exercise, Sayang has grasped part of the body’s muscular and skeletal structure, allowing her to approach future figure-drawing studies with greater confidence and understanding.
