We had a fun two weeks with Kathy, learning to paint while sharing great conversations. She brought such bright energy to the studio and filled her still life paintings with vibrant pink tones and her own lively touch. Along the way, she practiced measuring, comparing objects, exploring different brush sizes, and creating harmonious colors.

We spent two sessions painting the glass vase. Kathy learned how to create harmonious colors, paint flowers, and handle the transparency of the glass. It was great to see her experimenting with vibrant colors and exploring different brush techniques. The result is lively yet balanced, with softer, muted areas where needed. Good job!

Painted the nutcracker at the studio – we learnt to measure and comparing proportions. Lovely color palette!
