- 15 minutes — Introduction to zines, sample books, and quick techniques (pencil, crayon, oil pastel, marker, torn-paper collage)
- 15 minutes — Choose a theme and shape your ideas as a group
- 60 minutes — Make your zine with instructor support
- 15 minutes — Finish and review your pages
- 15 minutes — Pack your zine, take photos, and head home with your booklet
Theme ideas
- A favourite film or song
- A mini biography of a hero or idol
- Fan fiction about someone you admire
- A comic about something you love
- Recent obsessions and discoveries
- Food, places, and cultural symbols — animals, plants, Hanoi sketches
- Quick cartoon-style portraits
