“Online art critics” sounds formal, but what most artists want is simpler: a knowledgeable person who will read their work carefully and reply in plain language. Art Tutor Hanoi offers free online art critic help through the same program as our gallery — submit a photo, receive an email critique, optionally see your piece featured with the review attached.
What our reviewers look at
- Structural issues — divided compositions, accidental tangents, weak focal points
- Material and surface — how paint, pencil, or collage reads in the photo you send
- Symbolism and narrative — when the artist describes intent in the submission form
- Next steps — concrete exercises or adjustments, not vague praise
Mixed media and sculpture photos
Overall composition: there is variety, but it feels rather spread out. Combined with unclear focal points, the painting looks somewhat uniform. If the goal is decorative, that can be acceptable — otherwise, define stronger focal hierarchy. You could add connecting material on one side so the elements blend more smoothly.
