You could use the images of the birds to create a clearer sense of rhythm. Here's my suggested approach: extend the canvas horizontally and increase the number of birds – this will make the rhythm more distinct. At the same time, vary the spacing between them to suggest a change in speed. Alternatively, you could explore ways for the birds to interact more with the pair of hands.
