This colour exercise took longer than I expected. On the positive side, she made a real effort to follow the notan plan she had developed beforehand. However, her control over the rhythm and variation of saturation and hue still needs improvement. In the next session, we will work on refining this version and creating another version using a cool colour palette. -

She did an excellent job on her latest composition and value study. The shapes are becoming more dynamic and expressive, with a greater sense of movement, and her use of tonal values is becoming more interesting. I’m excited to see how these developments will carry over into her upcoming color studies.
