Teacher critique

For an A5 painting, this is incredibly detailed. Honestly, I don't think I could paint something like this. Really impressive. How long did this take you?

The colors are beautiful and very calming, and I can tell you spent a lot of time on all the little details. You almost look like a professional landscape painter already.

Just one small comment. The house and chimney catch my eye a bit too much, so they become the focal point. I think the little boat out on the water should be the main focus instead. Maybe let some of the green from the trees blend into the roof and chimney a little more, so the house feels half hidden by the foliage. I think that would make the composition even stronger.

Really beautiful work. I hope to see more paintings like this.
