An “art rater” usually means a tool that scores your image — often with AI — and returns a number or a short automated summary. That can be fun as a quick check, but it rarely explains why a composition feels weak or what to practice next. At Art Tutor Hanoi we do not run an art rater. We offer free written critique from artists trained at the Vietnam University of Fine Arts.

What a trained artist adds
Reviewers look for structural problems (divided compositions, weak focal points), value groups, and whether your intent reads clearly. They teach adult and kids classes at our Tay Ho studio and write feedback in English for beginners, hobbyists, students, and working artists.
The composition is visually split into two completely separate parts, and this division is even emphasized by a line — something to strictly avoid in painting. There are many more subtle ways to achieve a “division” concept while maintaining visual continuity.
