Looking for a creative afternoon in Hanoi that is not another walking tour? Our Zine Making Workshop is a relaxed 2-hour studio session in Tay Ho where small groups fold, sketch, collage, and print their own DIY magazine.
What happens in the workshop
- 15 minutes — Introduction to zines, sample books, and quick techniques (pencil, crayon, oil pastel, marker, torn-paper collage)
- 15 minutes — Choose a theme and brainstorm as a group
- 60 minutes — Make your zine with instructor support
- 15 minutes — Finish, review, and photograph your work
- 15 minutes — Pack up your zine to take home
Who it is for
Travelers, expats, and local creatives who want a hands-on art experience without a long course commitment. No drawing background required — the focus is experimentation, storytelling, and having fun with materials. Groups of 3–4 people collaborate on one pre-folded A2 zine (colored cover and envelope included).
