For his final session, Joshua experimented with acrylic painting. His colors are fresh, vibrant, and full of clarity, and I think his artistic sensibility is especially well suited to the Naïve style.Goodbye, Joshua. Joshua took on the challenge of drawing a skull cast, one of the more demanding studies in academic portrait training. He handled it very well, demonstrating a strong understanding of structure and form. Congratulations on an excellent achievement! -

A fun sketch from one of our practice sessions—Kathy drew Joshua’s foot during a life sketching exercise. I thought it was a lovely moment, so I’m including it here as a memory.
