Teacher critique

This looks really pro. I like the composition a lot, and the textures are great, especially the rocks.

I also like how the horse shape kind of repeats and contrasts with the mountain in the background. The horse feels really solid, almost like the mountain itself. I think that's a really nice connection.

Looking at the white strokes across the field, I get the feeling there's a strong wind. If that's what you wanted, maybe let the wind affect the horse more too. The mane, tail, maybe even the fur could move with the wind. Maybe in real life it wouldn't look exactly like that, but in a painting you can push it a bit to make the atmosphere stronger.
