Using the same still life, she painted it again with a cool color palette. Personally, I prefer the warm version, but there are several areas in this new painting that were handled more effectively.

A monochromatic value study. There were a few compositional issues that needed to be resolved independently of color, and she learned and applied the necessary adjustments very quickly, achieving a strong result.

This time, she worked more carefully, refining the hues and values to create smooth and well-structured gradations. However, she should be more mindful of her rendering in certain areas, avoiding too many subtle value or color shifts within a single color plane.

She was very comfortable mixing colors. Well, the results weren’t always great, but I really like that willingness to experiment.

After finishing the charcoal course, she moved on to the basic color course.
I believe she has practiced this color wheel exercise many times before, but in watercolor. Gouache presents some challenges for her, and she needs to further improve her rendering skills with this medium.
