Mia worked from a more challenging still-life reference in colored pencils and showed great patience throughout the lesson. She carefully observed the main shapes, flowers, and background while experimenting with soft color layering. This was a difficult subject for her age, but she stayed focused and made a wonderful effort. We’re proud of her progress and excited to continue developing her observation skills in future lessons! -
Mia explored gouache painting in this lesson with teacher guidance for the initial sketch. She showed a wonderful sense of color, confidently using bright, harmonious combinations to create a lively and cheerful composition. Her color choices continue to be one of her strengths, and we look forward to helping her develop her drawing skills alongside her creativity. Great job! -

Mia began working from a real still-life setup for the first time. Although it was a more challenging exercise, she did a great job observing the basic shapes and proportions of the objects. As a follow-up activity, she also completed a creative tree drawing at home. Well done, Mia—we’ll continue building her observation and drawing skills in the next lessons!
