Mia worked from a more challenging still-life reference in colored pencils and showed great patience throughout the lesson. She carefully observed the main shapes, flowers, and background while experimenting with soft color layering. This was a difficult subject for her age, but she stayed focused and made a wonderful effort. We’re proud of her progress and excited to continue developing her observation skills in future lessons!

Mia explored gouache painting in this lesson with teacher guidance for the initial sketch. She showed a wonderful sense of color, confidently using bright, harmonious combinations to create a lively and cheerful composition. Her color choices continue to be one of her strengths, and we look forward to helping her develop her drawing skills alongside her creativity. Great job!

Mia began working from a real still-life setup for the first time. Although it was a more challenging exercise, she did a great job observing the basic shapes and proportions of the objects. As a follow-up activity, she also completed a creative tree drawing at home. Well done, Mia—we’ll continue building her observation and drawing skills in the next lessons!
