Today, she painted flowers. The first plan was to work in black and white, but later decided to switch to watercolor.
Compared to her most recent flower study, there is a clear progress. Her use of color and watercolor technique has improved significantly, too.

Today she added new texture to the ocean behind the duck and she learnt how to lift gouache paint to fix the details. The color choice was great! -
17/May/2026Started a new project. She first drew a duck realistically, then added her own creative ideas for the background. She did a good job with the overall shapes. We’ll continue refining the composition as the project develops.

10/May/2026Kanade finished her drawing today. The final piece is colorful, imaginative, and has a surreal feel. Throughout this project, she learned about perspective and practiced using light and shadow with a variety of materials. Great job!

We are completing her one-point perspective drawing. She adds more details and animals in and uses acrylic markers for coloring. Her technique with the markers is really good, I especially like her bird, so lively!Hope we can see the complete painting soon!
