Awesome results today! We created a landscape inspired by Paul Klee, using simplified shapes and expressive colors. Sieun balanced warm and cool colors well, creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere. She learned how to build color harmony by simplifying shapes and repeating colors throughout the painting.
She was also eager to try new techniques. Since we didn’t have a “sign pen”, we experimented with watercolor instead. I really appreciate her curiosity and willingness to explore.

Today, Sieun painted with acrylic on canvas. Her hand-eye coordination is very good, and I liked how she added a window while keeping the composition balanced. Next time, we’ll pay more attention to small details, such as the pineapple texture. Her vibrant color choices worked really well. In her spare time, she also completed a fun balloon drawing. Great job! -

We had a productive lesson today and completed three drawings. Sieun observed a plush alpaca and flowers before creating a gouache painting with her own color choices. She was confident with her composition, paid close attention to details, and learned how to create different textures. We also experimented with oil pastels, which was a fun way to explore color. Great work today!
