   After spending some time drawing still lifes, today she moved on to something much more challenging.

   The assignment was a basic planar head. It required a great deal of measuring, comparing, and constant adjustments. After several rounds of corrections, it seemed she had begun to grasp some of the key proportions and structural characteristics of the head.
