Emma learned about graffiti today—its history and how to draw bubble fonts. She showed great creativity, imagining different characters based on the shapes of the letters.

This lesson explored Pop art. We took inspiration from everyday’s posters.
Emma created an advertisement poster for her favorite milk, and as always, it was filled with her creative details.
If I saw this poster out on the street, I would definitely want to try the product being advertised!

Today, we recreated The Persistence of Memory using clay.
Emma made the piece even more interesting by adding cats, such a creative and fun idea! There are many details throughout the work, showing great patience and effort. How awesome! -

Today we did still life painting using gouache. Emma drew the flowers more confidently now.
Even though the painting was drawn on paper, but it had the same effect like on canvas. How cool!
We will draw still life with oil paint on canvas in the near future. -

Emma worked with watercolor. She chose to draw blueberries. Although the colors were used a bit muddy and too thick at times, the painting still turned out very well as a whole.
